Sofia Mikitiuk is 9 months old, she has SMA Type 1. The family decided to immigrate to the US 5 months ago as "Uniting for Ukraine" program participants. After long examinations and tests, Sofia qualified for Zolgensma therapy and received treatment at Los Angeles Children's Hospital right after Christmas 2022.
